Cafe
Yes, there are paper cups, compostable ones. But there are also beautifully nostalgic ACF ivory-coloured cups and saucers, ringed with a fine gold band. It's that attention to detail that first marked out this supercool, secluded, sleek wedge of a cafe when it was set up by Adriano Matteoni. Now owned by barista Eloise Tunchon (it's her first ever cafe - congratulations!), it's still a lovely spot in which to perch on a stool with a morning roll of Barossa Valley leg ham or a cup of fig and maple muesli. A piccolo made with ProCal milk ($3.30) is dead serious with good aroma and acidity.
