Bright walls, potted palms, Phil Collins music, Sky Sports in the dining room and macadamia encrusted barramundi: it's all a bit dated. But it's hard to fault the food and service at this popular neighbourhood watering hole. Meals arrived promptly and the food was a step above ordinary pub grub. There is a chef with flair in the kitchen and an extensive menu ranges from nachos, tapas and burgers to surf 'n' turf, pastas and risottos. Our plates heaved with barramundi, lamb medallions and bruschetta, and a very tasty salt-and-pepper calamari starter came with a delicious rocket salad.
