Acclaimed chef Sean Connolly is keeping punters happy with an oyster bar in one part of The Morrison and a burger bar in another. The latter has a dark-wood Americana saloon feel and a short menu that’s serves every kind of corporate cowboy wanting a better class of sauce running down his chin. Straight-shooters round up the basic beef with chipotle mayo, the adventurous pursue the black-as-night charcoal brioche bun and (moderate) chilli kick of the Black Widow, while the super-food inclined take the burger with chicken fillet crumbed with a sprinkling of quinoa. Pair with duck fat chips or a boutique Aussie beer on tap.
