Parlour Diner

Contemporary

You won’t find waitresses on rollerblades or chequerboard tiles at Parlour Diner, but you will find some of the best burgers south of the river. The namesake burger is a perfectly cooked beef patty slathered in melted cheese and sweet pickle slices inside a fluffy bun that’s had a brief dalliance with the grill. For herbivores, there’s the jaw-dislocating burger loaded with tofu, portobello mushroom, haloumi and avocado mash. Buttermilk fried chicken won’t disappoint, but not ordering a Swingle key lime pie - a chocolate-covered version of the American classic - might.
