South American

Should quick-fix meals be measured by quality or quantity? Per Kilo customers do both, filling plates or burritos from a buffet with Colombian flare; the price of their pickings is calculated by weight. Empanadas, grilled veg, Spanish potato omelette and chicken or beef fresh from the hotplate are good, but sparkle and buzz to life with house-made condiments such as sharp and spicy aji salsa, or the mellower tomato and onion relish ogao. Everything is better with chimichurri, a zingy mix of parsley, oregano, lemon and oil. Cleanse with fresh juice of guava, feijoa or lulo. It’s satisfaction in any size you choose.
