PS Cafe

With four blackboard-painted walls you might feel like you've stepped inside a classroom. But with deliberately down-at-heel decor, and the chef in his open kitchen sporting fashionable facial fur, PS is way too cool for school. Eggs might come sprinkled with truffle, and prices are a step above your everyday cafe. A sesame bun special with slow-cooked pork, cabbage and enoki mushrooms is satisfying fun (though apple 'jam' might render it too sweet for some). Eggs customised with plentiful side options, including kumera and basil hash, will please designer diners. Deluca coffee goes straight to the head of the class.
