European$$

Church Street's Public House is a slick combination of Art Deco detail and industrial bunker design. An odd yet seriously funky Rubik's Cube-like facade of angular stone slabs dissected by steel rods gives way to a large, airy polished concrete space softened by richly patterned carpet, stained glass and hanging box lamps. Wooden bench tables provide perfect roosts for the flocks of hip young drinkers. A tasty bar menu (mini lamb burgers; manchego-stuffed zucchini flowers) complements a decent tap beer selection, including Moo Brew and Grolsch, and an impressive wine list with plenty of European flair.
