Quakers Inn

Good Food hat15/20

Contemporary$$

The Quakers Inn doesn't look like much from the outside but the packed parking lot should be enough to suggest there's more than meets the eye. The dining area is huge and, the waiter tells us, packed most nights. The menu is extensive, with several specials that make good use of seasonal produce. A seafood plate with oysters, scallops, mussels, fish, calamari, king prawns, chips and dipping sauces (for $28.90) is an epic plate of food, and the chicken schnitzel is huge and delicious. The food is excellent and the friendly atmosphere means you leave with a full stomach and a smile.
