Red Brick Road Cafe

This friendly little shopfront in the middle of busy Puckle Street could easily slip under your radar. But the tidy white-walled space features a shiny La San Marco on the timber bar, which is put to good use. A Clark Street Roasters Brazil blend is nutty on the nose and rounds out in the cup with bright fruity hints. Coffee Supreme's South blend is on the roster, and pourovers feature beans roasted by Camberwell's Filter Roasters. A neat seasonal menu tempts, too. Scrambled eggs get an Iberian lift from morcilla sausage, semi-dried tomatoes and manchego cheese, and a summery bruschetta is loaded with peas, broad beans and reggiano.
