There are no slices of quince on which to dine, but the owl and the pussycat would be very happy at this little sun-trapped courtyard cafe, tucked in behind the mammoth Deus bike-o-dome in the old Western Biscuit Factory. Sit up at a big, wooden share table with a strawberry, lychee and mint frappe, a roast pork roll, or crepes with orange, date, ricotta and orange syrup, and the chef might pop out to see how you like them. Golden Cobra coffee ($3.50) is terrific here; very balanced and full-bodied. And we love that they kept the old steel roller that used to stamp out the biscuits.
