Salford Lads Club

$$

The last thing you’d expect hidden behind Bunnings in an industrial setting is a charming and characterful cafe. Marked by the tyre swing outside, the vast space with whitewashed brick walls and parquetry floor seethes with constant crowds. A revolving menu chalked in rainbow colours has a host of hearty feeds, maybe slow-roasted pork belly that crackles and oozes like honeycomb served on a tangy salad of carrot, apple, radish and red cabbage with honey-mustard dressing. Steak sangers, crisp chicken burgers and veal parmas are equal winners. A cute ‘tuckshop’ (with separate entry) is a fantastic addition for Seven Seeds coffee and snacks.
