It's a Malaysian restaurant that's styled like an old-world coffeehouse. It's a food court counter that uses real cutlery. It's a thoroughfare for loud, hungry workers that gives the illusion of romance. Interesting combinations, but they work. And so does the food. Noodles and rice are the stars and come every-which-way, be it soaked in homely broths, tossed in juicy meats, or fried in fragrant spices. Billy, Nina and Donny are all popular (menu items, not people), and regulars swear by the seafood laksa. Finish on a sweet note with teh tarek, a condensed milk tea served hot or cold.
