Chinese

Slippery, slightly chewy handmade Chinese noodles are always best when tangled among meat and vegies in a rich sauce. Sea Bay, one of many Asian restaurants lining the southern end of Burwood Road, has the recipe down pat. The fluorescent lighting and patchy service are downsides but the value for money here is sky high. Don't be surprised if you over-order - it's hard to hold back when you're choosing from steaming plates of dumplings, buns, noodles, endless lamb dishes and delicacies such as spicy sliced tripe and pig ears. Be warned: at peak times, be prepared to wait for a table.
