See that bus stop outside Shot on Military? Well, even if it's not your stop, hop off the bus for an Ammo coffee at this sweet and funny greenery-clad cafe. You'll get a cheery hello from barista Aydin Kumral, and fall in love with the growing wall, the spiralling pipe of water, the 5-tonne concrete bench and the cottage furniture that Fiona Kumral had to convince Aydin was suitable decor (it is). Food is simple but freshly made and amusingly named (The Beefeater, The West Ham); there's a chai house brew and Tea Drop tea. A piccolo ($3.50) is just the shot, all orange peel and bittersweet cocoa.
