Si Senor

Mexican

Pink neon instructs ‘Eat drink love taco’. It could easily be Melbourne’s current mantra. Pull up at the front or back bar at this art-filled taqueria, or follow the turquoise staircase up to quirky lounges and dining rooms, where chrome skulls, neon cacti and a sculpture of a shiny black pig add a devilish wink to this stylish labyrinth. Start with some chunky guacamole and maybe chilli-sprinkled grilled corn before tackling a hefty burrito oozing cheese, perhaps a stuffed torta (baguette) or a plate of super-tasty tacos with sirloin, chorizo or Mexican pork and pineapple (four for $15 every Tuesday, FYI).
