Spoonful

A 'restorative' chicken and parsley risotto captures the essence of Spoonful: fresh, quality ingredients, beautifully cooked, and clean, clear flavours. The fitout is vivacious, with lolly-striped cushions, huge artworks and gorgeous lanterns. A spiced cauliflower and barley salad might come flecked with pomegranate seeds, providing great texture, while a crisp-fried calamari taco is right on trend. For breakfast, ricotta and cream cheese fritters come topped with baked apple and a moreish honey lemon syrup. Spoonful's mini offshoot, Teaspoon (next door), serves sandwiches, take-home meals, cakes and a fine, nutty latte.
