St Ali North

The St Ali coffee juggernaut finally wheeled its way northside this year, and with a ready-made clientele of commuter cyclists and strolling perambulators, the sprawling space has been an undeniable hit. With a stellar line-up on the machines and the pans, food and brews share centre stage - and it's damn good on both fronts. The fitout is classy-minimal with breezy-cool blues and greys, and there's plenty of grass for picnic-style outdoor grazing. Naturally, coffee is a big focus; check out the Fetco-brewed filter coffees or the nicely frothy 'cappuccino al freddo' - chilled milk shaken with chocolate ganache and a double shot of coffee.
