Stickybeak

$$

There’s something else to stickybeak at near the street scribbles of Artists Lane: this fun and funky warehouse conversion that has gourmands agog. The polished copper accents (exposed pipes, Glomesh-esque bar), distressed walls and Da Vinci scrawls lend the place a rich, sci-fi-fantasy feel. The menu is inventive but inviting, with comfort food like a cheesy, garlicky wild mushroom and herb ragu for lunch, or a big breakfast dominated by a pork and fennel sausage coil. It’s worth sticking your beak in at weekends for $10 cocktail specials and the occasional live music act.
