The Boathouse Balmoral Beach

Andrew Goldsmith and Pip Robb could not have chosen a more perfect spot than the old Balmoral boat shed to recreate the success of their breezy Boathouse restaurant at Palm Beach. And recreate they have, right down to the glorious displays of fruit and flowers, the artfully weathered furniture, the market umbrellas, and the eternal, infernal queue of people waiting to give their order and take their number. Also present and correct is the famous burger, loaded down with cheddar, beetroot, grilled onion and mustard mayo; one of Sydney’s finest fish and chips; and a killer green eggs with ham for breakfast.
