The Clarendon's Art Deco bar sparkles with chrome stools, polished floors, glass and tiles. Steps lead to booths, scattered tables and casual lounges. The staff are youthful and familiar. The lunch menu includes a tempura barramundi burger and char-grilled chicken tenderloins on focaccia. The dinner menu steps it up a notch with slow-braised chilli and lime pork ribs or chicken supreme marinated in Sichuan seasoning. Pizzas and pastas are $19. The Clarendon rotates its guest beer taps every few weeks with boutique offerings such as Duke Lager and Little Creatures Dreadnought.
