The Grand National

Good Food hatGood Food hat16.5/20

'The Nash' sits just off Oxford Street on a classic Paddington street corner, and its young male bar staff deliver impeccable service that wouldn't be out of place in a three-hat restaurant. The locals drift in for the T-bone or New York steak and chips, or even an amazing warm salad that pulls off the rare feat of making pumpkin look sexy before you unearth clusters of plump salted grapes and pickled mushrooms from beneath the greenery and ricotta. Cheese plates come with a choice of two or four cheeses, and they'll even do you a macchiato to finish. You'll wish you lived in Paddington.
