It’s fast become a community hub, with locals dropping in for Sunday’s live music, and no-fuss, fantastic food no matter what time of day. Breaking the Under $30 budget isn’t tough, but the food is share-friendly, so a few plates between friends should satisfy: perhaps grilled whole prawns to peel at the table, a salad of quinoa, haloumi, roasted carrot and beets, or duck ragu? Sides of broccoli, peas, spinach and parmesan or duck fat potatoes with saffron aioli are just as sating.
