In a slick, loft-style space, this modern Middle Eastern pizzeria makes traditional pizzas look positively square. Moor’s Head’s no-mucking-around menu is a short list of appetite-whetting starters, such as pickled vegetables, followed by one enticing pizza after another. There are gondola-shaped pide pizzas, such as the Bosphorus, plump with prawns in a rich sauce of tomato, chilli, garlic and coriander. Others, like the Fairuz (tomato, haloumi, bastourma and parsley) come on a round base. Finish with peppermint tea, sweet fatayer pies or choc-covered, chewy Lebanese ice-creams.
