Well-cooked steak sandwiches and burgers are staples at this modern city pub. The choices from the main menu include lamb shanks, grilled barramundi, salt-and-pepper calamari and pork cutlet with pistachios, orange zest, sweet potato roesti and spicy harissa. The steaks are well cooked, too, and the prices are reasonable. Tapas plates are fun to share and reasonable value, with a choice of three for $20 or five for $26. The dinner menu adds a range of pizzas including roast duck with Chinese cabbage, coriander, shallots and mint and prawn, and avocado with rocket, tomato and garlic aioli. There's a $5 menu on Saturdays.
