The Persian Room

Mediterranean$$

The goal at this little piece of Persia in Pyrmont seems to be to make every diner feel like family, and it's this as much as the wonderful slow-cooked, flavoursome food that turns first-timers into regulars. Kebabs are ubiquitous, but where else will you find eight-hour cooked, utterly mouth-watering meatballs with a whole spicy plum in the middle? Staff will guide you through the menu, and there aren't too many dishes that won't have you clashing forks to scoop up every last morsel. The brekkie menu offers spins on favourites with the likes of pistachio poached eggs in hollandaise sauce or the Persian nomad breakfast with a selection of meats, eggs and vegies.
