The vibe is colourful bazaar, complete with vibrant rugs and prints adorning the walls, booth seating, and the air heady with fragrant spices. Service is exceptionally warm, with the owner keen to share tips on the menu and insight into Persian cuisine. The meat for Persian stews is marinated for hours on end, then slow-cooked; to say the result is tasty is an understatement. Also top-notch: eggplant dip served with house-made Persian bread, juicy chicken kebab and saffron rice with pomegranate and yoghurt dressing, topped with rose petals and pistachio. Gorgeous!
