Once a functional milk bar, the Pint of Milk still services locals - only now instead of ciggies and white sliced, it's smooth brews through a Synesso. Inside it's soothing, modern neutrals with varnished wood and white tiles. Dial up the sustenance with breakfasts such as exotic mushrooms and gooey taleggio cheese on walnut sourdough. For lunch, gently curled calamari cosies up with Vietnamese-style salad, while goat's cheese gnocchi with prawns might be a touch heavy with the brown butter sauce. True to its past, the Pint sells the eponymous white stuff (Jonesy's) as well as bread from organic baker Crumbs.
