The Post Office Hotel Dining Hall

Pub dining

The good-looking mess hall attached to Coburg's Post Office Hotel has a rock-star pedigree, with Tex Perkins and Dallas Crane alumni as owners. So, cracking soundtrack: check. Booths, communal tables and beer garden beckon, and an open kitchen provides sizzle. The everyman menu courses from breakfasts to a bumper wagyu-beef burger and crispy-based pizzas. A pastrami sandwich is a revelation, on a fluffy white roll with crunchy sauerkraut and melted gruyere. Even the most avowed sweet-tooth may face defeat at the hands of the 'chocolate nemesis', a rich, fudgy cake.
