The Pyrmont Point Hotel

13.5/20

Contemporary$$

This heritage-listed pub with its maze of traditional and modern rooms sure knows how to draw a crowd. From couples to families to those just of legal drinking age, the huge menu caters for all. Sichuan and sea salt-dusted squid served with soy and chilli salad delivers on flavour, while the Point's famous king prawn and fresh egg linguine does not disappoint. The filet mignon might require some elbow grease, and a little less time on the coals, however there's nothing like a generous cheese board and smart wine list to help you forgive and forget.
