Elvis, The Beatles, Nirvana and Eddie Murphy live? The vintage LPs on the wall hint at the eclectic appetite of this Five Ways cafe, named for the stripy effect on a well-made pour. The strong Golden Cobra caffe latte ($3.50) is as satisfying as the Fancy Pants bacon and egg sandwich ($9.50) although the signature Maple Mottle and condensed milk-flavoured South American shots are more sweet than sexy. May as well go for the Barry White Belgian hot chocolate ($5) and be done with it. Weekdays is a rush of young mums, dads and prams; weekends are a crush of those not yet at that stage.
