Fancy a single origin from Costa Rica? A sustainability blend? A lighter roast for cold-drip? Toby's is the beanhunter's candy store, with beans, machines, grinders and other coffee paraphernalia for sale. You can even press your nose to the glass and watch the roasting going on out back. But this warehouse space is a cafe as well, and everyone's welcome on the low wooden tables and long, high benches. It's a nice spot to munch a chicken piri-piri wrap with salami, tomato and mozzarella and enjoy a creamy caffe latte ($3.80) while gazing at the sandstone crenellations of the University of Sydney and dreaming of which gleaming coffee machine to buy.
