Taking up a pretty corner premises, this light and airy cafe keeps it crisp and minimal in decor (although it can get noisy when busy, and service could sometimes be more switched on). From the light and fresh menu, kick off breakfast with an eye-brightening ‘Good Morning Juice’ (apple, cucumber, mint, coconut and pear) and fluffy chive hotcakes with ricotta and spinach. Lunch is an easy mix of salad and sandwich specials, with warmer options like Thai-spiced chicken cakes, lemon-and-garlic calamari or a generous fillet of salmon on a bed of radicchio, currants and pinenuts available. Finish with a chunk of nut-studded caramel slice.
