T’relek

T’relek forks out on value, quick service and the familiar, lengthy menu common to many of its 30-odd Vietnamese-restaurant neighbours. But, equally, it stands out from the crowd with its fresh, bright character. It’s in the fitout, with a black-and-white photo mural and fold-away front that opens to the street. It’s in the service that’s as quick with a smile as it is with taking and delivering orders. Bright too is a seafood coleslaw chock-full of scallops, squid, red onion, cabbage and carrot slices. An omelette bursts with crisp broccoli, snowpeas and carrot. Free extras (prawn crackers to start, orange to end) are T’riffic.
