Trinity Bar

14/20

Popular? It is so packed we're told to grab a chair and haul ourselves over the balcony to secure the last empty table. Saturday night always draws a party crowd but the rugby World Cup had triggered a jamboree. Our resourceful waitress was calm under pressure, though, and, using the same method of entry as our own, bypassed the whooping and hollering to deliver two courses: a hearty mezze plate replete with dolmades, olives, feta, sun-dried tomatoes and Turkish bread followed by a perfectly tender and juicy filet mignon (with chips and salad) and a succulent piece of Atlantic salmon in an ocean of avocado.
