Recycled gas-bottle lamps throw light around this laid-back garage-turned-cafe/bar with concrete floors and graffiti walls. Folks drop in for Toby's Estate coffee and good-value brekkies (served till 3pm), such as chilli scrambled eggs with Otway bacon wrapped in house-made flatbread and dolloped with mashed avocado; or crisp potato roesti with spinach, avocado, bacon and free-range poached eggs. Come lunch, the burger is a cheesy, caramelised onion two-hand delight. For grazing with a drink, simple tapas include pork belly, Turkish meatballs and feta-stuffed mushrooms. There's wine, cocktails and hot buttered rum to warm the cockles in cooler months.
