Una’s

Unless you’re training for a world-record eating event, don’t even think of ordering the entree of deep-fried camembert, or the cheese and cherry strudel for dessert. Mains are more than enough. The wiener schnitzel is the size of a broadsheet and the pork knuckle - surely it comes from a mammoth, not a pig. But in no time you’ll be licking the plate clean; so many schnittys have come out of this kitchen since the 1960s that they’ve perfected the art. The crunchy roesti and vinegary cabbage salad make the perfect accompaniments. And the folksy touches and alpine images make for a fitting setting.
