It gets way too hot in summer and it's super-loud when full, but Sutherland's scenesters still converge on White Horse to get their coffee fix. Matty and Domtron put their hand-roasted, ethically sourced, fresh-crop beans from around the world to good use on the heavy-duty La Marzocco, and a rich and creamy piccolo latte ($3.50) goes some way to explaining the cult following. While their taste leans towards intricate house blends, the White Horse also serves two single origin brews per day, and high-end brewed coffee from a Clover machine, along with toast, muesli and freshly made sandwiches.
