Korean

Wooga has a disarming, den-like vibe to it, with its low-roofed, wood-panelled interior. Tables fitted with mini-grills and low-hanging, black tubular extraction devices speak of Wooga's speciality, so order a delicately sliced combo - say, brisket, beef rib and scotch fillet - and get to grilling it yourself. Kimchi and radish and cabbage salad add a bright foil, while velvety tofu with a feisty kimchi pulled pork, or a spicy beef and noodle soup are great alternatives to the DIY option. But do not skip the homely, gooey 'healthy mixed rice' that goes pleasingly crisp against the heated bowl - it's like the Korean equivalent of a healing chicken soup.
