And the evidence is there in the display cabinet, stacked with fat sausage rolls, chicken and leek pies and tempting Tim Tam chocolate tarts. There are more substantial items on the menu, so you can settle into well-worn red couches for Thai beef salad or a steaming bowl of chicken noodle soup.
