Xi’an Cuisine Sydney

Chinese

It’s salty, garlicky and strong, and this is one of only a couple of Sydney spots serving it. Order off the menu’s front page and get the regional specialities like cold knife-sliced noodles with cucumber and roasted chilli or a spiced pita-pancake with pork and coriander. Chicken gizzards and spicy shredded tripe are only $2.50, so you may as well. It’s postage-stamp small but inexplicably cheap and well-worth squeezing into. If there was a Good Food Under $15 guide, this would be a shoo-in.
