Chilli fans will love Ying Thai, where the orange colour theme- walls, tables and staff uniforms- points the way to the spicy food. Chilli symbol ratings on the menu provide helpful guidance: three chillies = bloody hot. Larb, a finely minced combination of beef, pork or chicken with onion, chilli and ground rice, is mouth-numbingly spicy, while fragrant green chicken and veg curry also packs a wallop. Pad thai, a slippery mound of noodles, dried shrimp, fried egg, peanuts and shredded carrot, has a chilli-ranking of one, but is still a lip-tingler.
