Contemporary

There is a lovely character to this place that cannot be manufactured. Staff greet patrons by name as they pump out consistently delicious coffee ($3.50) on the La Marzocco, or offer up the weekly changing single origin. It's a great spot to linger, poring over the morning papers laid out along the large wooden share table, chilling out to the music or knocking back an avocado on sourdough, muesli and yoghurt or a particularly good lunchtime roast beef sandwich. Locals pack out the leafy garden courtyard on Sundays to take in the live music post-beach session. This is what a cafe can be, and should be.
