Warton returns

With the reopening of the Parlour Wine Room in the coming weeks, the surprise news is the former chef, Brad Warton, is back at the helm. Warton was at Parlour until 2009, when he was off to Mezzalira and from there to Milk and Honey. More recently, he’s been at Ten Minutes by Tractor, a highly regarded winery on the Mornington Peninsula. Warton was at Parlour in those heady early days of sophisticated tapas and an excellent wine list, in the kind of grown-up louche bohemian set up that Parlour brought to Canberra bars. It closed with the fire in 2011, but is reopening soon.
