The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival has announced its Water Masterclass for 2014, to be held on the Bellarine Peninsula. The surprise twist? The masterclass will see the return to Australia of chef Aaron Turner, former owner of Drysdale restaurant Loam, who is travelling around America.

He joins Sydney chef Peter Gilmore from Quay and Michelin-starred UK seafood chef Nathan Outlaw to present a four-course lunch at Campbell Point House.

Sea Bounty's Lance Wiffen will talk about the complexities of mussels and oysters and there will be a chance to try your hand at fly-fishing and learn about how to smoke fish.

The exclusivity of the high-profile event comes with a hefty price tag - $825 a person, inclusive of a chauffeur-driven car to and from Melbourne. There are only 50 places.
