Airport food venture for Luke Mangan?

International passengers departing Sydney Airport over Christmas will be able to snack on food and shop duty free side-by-side at a new concept store.

Heinemann Duty Free has partnered with celebrity chef Luke Mangan and local restaurant group Trippas White (360 Bar and Dining). They are tight-lipped out at Kingsford Smith, but word on the tarmac is the first venue will be named The Bridge Bar and open mid-December. A second venue, a cafe-restaurant, will follow next year.

What role each party will play in these venues is unclear, but a deal linking the three was struck early this year.
