All-American Beer SpecTAPular at Sydney's The Local Taphouse

There's much more to American beer than Budweiser. The US has one of the biggest and best craft beer scenes in the world and it's being showcased this American Independence Day.

From midday on Friday, July 4, The Local Taphouse in Darlinghurst is hosting the All American Beer SpecTAPular. Twenty US craft beers will be on the pour, including brews from Rogue Ales, Sierra Nevada, Deschutes Brewery, Sixpoint and Founders Brewing Co.

There'll be live music and a US-inspired menu. If you're a beer geek with some annual leave up your sleeve, July 4 would be a very good day to use it.
