Another Japanese jewel in Crown

Crown has established its third Japanese restaurant, alongside Nobu and Koko, its first izakaya, with the opening of Gochi slightly more than a month ago. Gochi, (a shortened version of gochisou, which means ''a feast or treating someone'' in Japanese), has two former Nobu chefs, Juntaro Fujimura and Heejon Jung, running the kitchen. The menu features sushi, sashimi, yakitori and sake. Crown Restaurants general manager Oliver von Brunn says: ''It's the first time Crown has opened a Japanese izakaya-style venue. Diners comment they like seeing the yakitori grill in action and the option of dining in or taking away.'' The 40-seater is opposite Giuseppe Arnaldo & Sons and is open daily from 11am.
