Bean boffins, latte lovers, and coffee connoisseurs are set to get their Rocks off at the Aroma coffee festival this weekend.

On Sunday, July 27 more than 100,000 caffeine fiends are expected to gather in The Rocks for what is the largest annual coffee festival in the southern hemisphere.

More than 60 microbrewers and specialty businesses will be pimping their specialty blends, single origins, cold drips, pourovers and Aeropresses

The popular Adore Coffee Lab will be there in all its transportable shipping container glory, as will stalls from the likes of Double Roasters, Black Drum, Paramount Coffee Project and The Wood Roaster. You also can be a judge in the 2014 Aroma Cup by sampling 13 local brews and voting online before July 31.

There's loads of pastry and food options to accompany all that black gold including goods from Italian Gingerbread and Nougat, The Baklava Stall, Whisk & Pin, and Nazuk Hand Made Delicacies.

Rocks Brewing Co will be pouring craft beer and a one-shot coffee brew. Meanwhile, tea-totallers need not despair as Tea Drop, Rainbow Chai, Tea Amo, and Arkadia Beverages are representing.

There's also a latte art smackdown on the program, food trucks, live music, and The Rocks Markets servicing all your linen and homeware needs.
