Bacash site sold

Local property investor George Gavdos won the bidding for the Bacash restaurant site at last Thursday's auction at 175 Domain Road, South Yarra.

About 150 people attended the auction. Bidding opened at $2.5 million and the hammer fell at $4.526 million.

In June this year, Gavdos bought 179-181 Domain Road for $4.38 million.

Bacash restaurant has a four-year lease with three-by-four year options and will continue to operate at the site.
