Belles Hot Chicken headed to the inner west? That's certainly the hot mail down at the Harold Park Tramsheds redevelopment in Rozelle. Belles owner Morgan McGlone confirmed a deal is brewing. "There are still a couple of things to agree on, but yes," the chef confirms. Belle's would join a rash of incoming talent later this year which includes the owners of Bodega, A Tavola's Eugenio Maiale and chef Jared Ingersoll.

Woollahra's Hotel Centennial will unveil its new Oxford Street bar in a fortnight. When the curtains come down, we're told to expect a "Soho House NYC" vibe with different spaces including a music room, library and contemporary video art installations. The menu includes the "Centennial S'more".

The final piece of the puzzle at the Maurice Terzini-led redevelopment of The Dolphin Hotel falls into place later this week. The Dining Room has already opened at the Surry Hills venue; this Friday, the Dolphin's Wine Room joins the party.

Due to an overwhelming response from our readers, we've decided to reinstate Richard Cornish's column. Many of you wrote in expressing dismay when we said goodbye to Brain Food last week and we can't stand between you and Richard's often hilarious but always accurate cooking tips; how else would we know if a pricked sausage contains less fat (it doesn't) or how to poach the perfect egg at home (you can't)? Welcome back Richard, we just couldn't let you go. Happy reading all.
